Arctic potatoes and strawberries

The potatoes are up from the ground. We are so happy to see that they are both big and many. And that it`s possible to make them grow in the cold Arctic.
Even strawberries can be grown here. If we take good care of them. This is the best of the autumn. To have potatoes and strawberries.

The curse of the Tana valley

I was driving six hours in this big region last weekend. To bring my son and some others to an athletic-competition.
Then we became victims of the curse of "Tanadalen", the Tana-valley. The road goes through this valley. Cut down by the salmon river, Tanaelva. On the other side of the river is Finland.
And ahead of us was mile after mile with driving.

It`s a long distance. But also, we feel that it`s extremely long. And boring.
It`s like 10 miles left....driving, driving, driving, driving, driving, aaaaaaannd......noooooooooow,........it`s.............ni miles, driving, driving, driving, even more driving......and so on.
The closer we get, the longer it feels.

The explanation of it all is that this valley is cursed. By a guy who decided that every human being who drives on this road will almost get bored to death.

It`s like we almost hoped that a reindeer would jump up on the road in front of us. Just to get a little bit of excitement.
